Everett is increasingly engaged and smiley. He likes to jabber and coo (and spit and drool!) and sometimes has a lot to say! He constantly tracks Emery's every move and she can calm him down fairly easily.
He is beginning to reach and grab toys and pull them to his mouth. We've tried a few naps without the swaddle blanket, but he has a hard time staying asleep that way. We practice rolling over and he's starting to tolerate tummy time for a bit longer. We tried sitting in the Bumbo a few times, but he was not a fan -- his head seemed way too heavy for him to hold up!
Everett's feeding issues seem to be improving. His stomach has settled down and he's communicating better when he's finished with a bottle (turning his head and pushing the bottle out of his mouth) and we're trying to do better at listening to him. He still gets overtired and lets you know about it (loudly)! But it seems that we can calm him down after a shorter amount of upset time.
Everett's hair looks very similar to Emery's hair color, especially in the sunlight. We're completely shocked to possibly have two redheads. His eyes, however, are looking darker and more brown every day (yay, says brown-eyed mommy!)
We're so grateful for this little, amazing miracle!
