Delaney Alina is Four Months Old - 11.30.2019

Delaney Alina is four months old!

Last weekend (11/23), Delaney rolled over from her tummy to her back. She really hates tummy time and it seems she's pretty happy to have an escape! She won't stay on her tummy for any time at all - just rolls right over. She's trying to roll from her back to her tummy, but stays on her side.

Yesterday, I blew raspberry noises to Delaney and she seemed to try to repeat the sound with spitting/blowing bubbles (which she's been doing for about a week now).

Delaney's reach and grasp have improved this month. She can hold toys and hold your fingers and pull your hair! She likes to lay on her activity mat and grab her toys - though lying in the middle of the living room floor is a little dangerous with a loving toddler brother who likes to lie down next to (or on top of) her.

This week, she had her first thanksgiving and we traveled to Colorado Springs to visit Blake's aunt and uncle, along with other aunts, uncles, cousins, and his folks. Laney had her first long car trip and hotel stay and she did great with both.

We look forward to all the fun things she'll learn this month and sharing her first Christmas with her!
