emery wore the same dress that i wore when i was dedicated 33 years ago. my gramma sent it to my mom the day after i was born - she had it waiting to send, hoping to find out whether she had a grandson or granddaughter.
"I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him. So now I give this child to the Lord. For [her] whole life [she] will be given over to the Lord." 1 Samuel 1:27-28.
here is a video of the dedication - it's about 8 minutes long. around 7 min 15 sec, you can see the pastor bill take emery and hold her out in front of him while he was praying for her. around 7:30, she starts kicking and wiggling - it's cute.

What a special occasion! And a perfect verse for your little Emery. May the Lord bless her and keep her and make his face on shine on her all the days of her life.
When Pastor Bill held Emery up she reminded me of the little lion on Lion King when she was kicking her feet. What a blessed miracle from the Lord. May God give you wisdom as you raise her to know and love Him.
