Blake and I are headed to Florida this weekend for a wedding... and we trust that Tropical Storm Fay will be gone by the time we get there! AND that we'll get through Atlanta on Thursday when she's supposed to be reaching Georgia! Pray that we get on to Tampa smoothly on Thursday!
What should we do on our extra days in Tampa (minus the time at the wedding on Saturday)? My vote is beach beach beach... but i've learned that Blake isn't as enthused with laying around for hours in the sun as I am.

what about sea kayaking? i did it once and had a blast.
i'm surprised how easy it is to burn in tropical climates. i didn't even spend a lot of time in the sun this weekend, and i still went to the wedding slightly brown.
as for our trip to the beach, it turned out to be pretty windy. the surfers seemed to enjoy it, but the beach volleyball courts (of which there must have been 30 or more) were left empty. there were plenty of people at the mall!
it's also surprising to see how different Fay's path actually was. it slowed way down and dumped rain in melbourne, jacksonville and tallahassee. some places saw more than 30 inches.
